Are you happy to see us?

A week ago two friends, Lisa W, Haley (recently arrived from Chiang Mai, Thailand), and I had the opportunity to visit some friends from Thailand. The three Thais, Neung (pictured), Gahn, and Wi are working at a Christian camp called Camp Tejas in Giddings.Neung or P’Neung was one of my guides while I was on AFCO in Chiang Mai. It’s been about two years since we had seen each other. It’s always good to meet up with friends I have not seen for quite some time. I have a great memory of riding around on the back of her motor bike at night seeing the sights of Chiang Mai.
A week later, ie yesterday, a group of us went out to Camp of the Hills to see the crucifixion reenactment and visit with friends. It was good to see Amanda, Erin, Robert, Josh, and others. Robert, as always, was styling in a two tone robe as a high priest of the Jews.

man, i didn’t youse guys went out there… oh wellzies. i’ve been decently holed up and was watching the Mavs game anyways. Plus you know i have ambiguous feelings about how counselors misuse the emotion from said event. Trust me, i’ve heard some turn it into a whole post-Cruci bible study on baptism… Well hope to hang soon. i’m watching World Cup tomorrs then heading to study at Sweet E.’s. Peace my brotha!
P.S. Did you take the crew out to eat in Austin??? If you did i hope you went somewhere where you acted like you knew how it was even though you had never been there…
