Tchau Brasil
I have had a wonderful time being with my friends in Brazil. It`s odd to think I will be in Santiago in a several. Come back for pictures soon.
In the meantime check out me on YouTube.

Well I have returned to the beautiful country or Brazil for a week.
I was picked up around 6A BRT (4A CDT) by two friends of a friend (thus I didn´t know these fellows) and soon after we were cracking jokes and having a good time. The friendliness of Brazil just warms one´s spirit, and it´s quite warm, as well. This is just one glimpse in to the distinctive culture of this country. If you have the opportunity to encounter this country, take it.
Food. Music. People.
Last night we dedicated the uppermost room of the church building to the use of the jovenes. It is pretty much the last part of the building that has not been used. It’s exciting to actually get a space of our own and commit it to be used for some thing more than just hanging out.
This past Sunday one of our university students decided he wanted to be a follower of Christ and be baptized. Cristian Moore has been studying with Cristian Rebolledo in the university group. The two have become closer friends over the past few months. It’s grand to see people like Cristian Rebolledo who have been in the university group for several years reach out beyond our group and those efforts bear fruit.

Well if you did not know Chileans love hot dogs. So for the end of Luke celebration; we studied the book chapter by chapter every Wednesday - the study had started in February or around then last Spring (Autumn here). So it was a BIG deal to finally be done with it. To celebrate we ate hot dogs, completos to be exact. Completos are hot dogs smothered in mashed avocado, mayonaisse, mustard, and diced tomatoes. I’m sure your salivating uncontrollably. Enjoy.

Hey thanks to the Aggies for Christ that sent me a care package last week. It’s filled with an instant Thai meal, Starburst, notes, Carmex, and more. Thanks again. Chau.
Well any one that has been around me for much time knows that I love plants. I, the marketing major, was a supplemental instruction (SI) leader for Botany 101 under one of my favorite professors Dr. Timothy Hall for two semesters. So to my joy, this past weekend the church has a work day to fill the courtyard of the building with flowers, bushes, and ground cover. It was great fun and many of our youth participated. Even more, there were some plants left over and I was able to add a few more flowers to my slowly growing garden on the terrace of my apartment.
Cheers.

Super Ocho, me encanta el Super Ocho
Hechos de servicio y amor
Super Ocho, me encanta el Super Ocho
El Super Ocho es para __________!!!
We sing and give out Super Ocho bars to say “thank you” when ever someone does an unnoticed act of service. Coté and Andrea washed dishes this past week without being asked.
